Rockwood Rustic Furniture. We are a hand-crafted log
and
stone furniture company. All of our products are made by
hand, one at a time.
We offer indoor as well as outdoor furniture with your choice of
finishing. Our
web site has a sample of our available products but we welcome your
ideas. Let
us work with you to create the pieces you require to complete your
rustic
décor.
We use
northern white cedar logs.
They are either hand peeled,
leaving some of the inner bark for a more
rustic
look, clean peeled
which takes it down to the pure white wood with some
rough
spots around the
knots and for a smoother look it can be hand
sanded.
Our stone tables can be
crafted into
the shape you desire or
left natural for a more rustic appeal.

When in the Rockwood
area, be sure to visit the Rockwood Conservation Area. The
Rockwood
Conservation Area is operated by the Grand River Conservation
Authority. It is
open from May 1 to October 15. Besides being a lovely place
to camp, swim and
picnic, the park contains sites of interests to residents and
visitors alike.
Visit a real working Ostrich farm!
At the farm, they provide a fun and interesting learning experience for kids & adults of all ages.
View ostrich chicks at one day
old, feed the yearlings, say hi to their Rednecks, Bluenecks &
African Black adults.
